Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely property nestled just off the main Windermere/Ambleside road. the location was ideal, offering beautiful views both in the front and back. Despite the small shower enclosure, we were pleased with the hot water and good pressure, which made for a refreshing start to our days exploring the Lake District. One of the highlights for us was the patio area at the back of the property. It was the perfect spot to unwind on a warm day, taking in the peaceful surroundings. the easy parking right in front of the property was a convenience we greatly appreciated. The location of the property was convenient for us, as it was closer to North Windermere, allowing for easy access to various areas in the central Lakes for day trips. We found the home to be cozy and inviting, providing a comfortable escape for our family during our week-long stay. Surprisingly, there were more facilities than advertised, including cooking appliances, utensils, a washing machine/dryer, and even a second toilet downstairs. Overall, we found the property to be worth the price and would definitely consider returning in the future. Our family had a delightful experience and would highly recommend it to other families looking for a peaceful retreat in the Lake District. As for the family-friendly amenities and activities, we were pleasantly surprised by the entertainment options available. the peaceful surroundings and easy access to outdoor activities made it a great choice for a family getaway. In conclusion, our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property and would not hesitate to book again in the future. It provided the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable escape in the Lake District.
